Booking Requirements

A valid phone number and email address are required to secure your booking. We are not responsible for any delays or inconveniences originated in part by the customer’s failure to provide accurate contact information.

Arrival & Departure Times

Roatan 21 Tours does not provide specific pickup times due to cruise ship schedule changes & delays. However, Roatan 21 Tours uses real-time tracking of cruise ships for arrival & departure times, and unless specified in writing, excursion/tour participants are expected to disembark from the cruise ship inmediately upon docking. Port exit & meet-up instructions will be sent to the booking party’s email address used during the reservation. Roatan 21 Tours is not responsible if the booking party fails to access port exit & meet-up instructions timely. 

Payment Terms

Full payment is required to confirm a booking with Roatan 21 Tours, and the price of your tour listed on our website includes all services and activities mentioned on the Tour description and all the corresponding local taxes and fees.

Clients from outside Honduras can make their payments by credit card, money order, or bank transfer.

For your security and convenience, payment with credit card on our website is accepted only through PayPal services . PayPal accepts all major credit cards. Prices and payments are in US Dollars, including credit card transactions. Roatan 21 Tours is not responsible for any billing discrepancies as a result of exchange rates or application of foreign exchange transaction fees.

When booking online thought PayPal, payment is due in full at the time of making the reservation.

Please Contact Us first for payments with money orders or bank transfers.

Visitors already on the island have the option of making their payment in cash with US Dollars or Honduran Lempiras at the end of the tour. No credit cards will be accepted at this instance.

Tour Cancellation Policy

At Roatan 21 Tours we begin planning your tour as soon as you make your booking to ensure the highest quality service at the lowest price, and we understand that life happens and sometimes plans have to change. We will do our best to come up with a suitable solution.

You must be aware that to keep our tour operation logistics flowing smoothly the day of your tour, we coordinate ahead of time your transportation services, activities start times, tour guides & other staff sourcing, purchase of refreshments, meals and/or other elements that will be in place and available whenever they are needed.

Securing all these require sometimes the payment of non-recoverable costs to third party companies and individuals. As a result, we operate under the following guidelines and policies:

  • We are located in the western Caribbean, in a tropical environment where weather patterns can not be always predicted with accuracy. Periodic rain, drizzle, and showers are to be expected and do not merit a reason for a cancellation or refund of your tour.
  • If the weather is considered not safe for our guests, we will cancel fully or partially the excursion and provide the corresponding refund (i.e. cancelling a boat trip leg of the tour due to rough seas marine authorities advisory).
  • Tour itineraries are intended as examples only. Participants should allow for flexibility due to changes in weather, natural history, cultural events, or other logistical arrangements deemed necessary by Roatan 21 Tours.
  • Though these occurrences are rare in nature, we offer 100% refund back minus processing fees if your cruise ship has to change their itinerary and skips docking on Roatan island.
  • If you should cancel your tour due to severe illness or unexpected health emergency (with medical certificate), your reservation may be refunded in the form of account credit/free date change so long as we receive at least 24 hours notice BEFORE the start of your tour.
  • No partial credits or rescheduling is allowed for partial attendance, no shows, or late arrivals. It is your responsibility to show up at the right location, in a timely manner.
